We want to live differently

Cologne - you are gay, they're gay, and they want to live together - in the "Villa Anders, a new residential complex of the JSC in Ehrenfeld. In EXPRESS tell the first inhabitants of what draws them there.
For example, the gossip: "I have a feeling that if I have people with me to talk to neighbors about it - I dare to invite me not really friends," says Hermann (43).
Or covert discrimination. "In our last apartment, we invited the whole street into a feast," says Lisa (55), will be with their wife Elke (move 45). "But we are in return were never invited anywhere." This should be in the Villa Anders differently. Each tenant has completed his apartment, but it relies on community. Who wants to move into the house between Venlo and Helmholtzstraße must join the club.
With the contribution to be funded include a communal apartment - for parties, but also to care for elderly roommate to you. "We want to be more than just normal neighbors," says Jurgen (47) the idea. "We are all willing to help each other in everyday life," adds Wolfgang (50). "But there is no one group forced to cuddle." Even in the preparatory meetings that are held regularly right now, first friendships have been closed.
The problem at the moment: There are still missing roommate, over the age of 60 years for more funding for a Mehrgenerationenprojekt too. "That's probably because at that age that they would no longer want to move so happy," suspects Jurgen. Vacant homes there are still enough. And tolerant heteros are not excluded.
